Are the Party areas under cover?
All of our party areas are fully weather protected. We have two party rooms, one indoors and the other outdoors.
When do I have to confirm final numbers?
When you make your booking, you will be asked to provide an estimate of the number of children attending. We will require a firm and final number no later than 4 days beforehand so that food orders and staffing for the day can be arranged. The final costing of the party will be based on this confirmed number or the actual number on the day if it is higher.
What happens if it rains on the day of the party?
If there is only slight or intermittent rain the mini golf will be open and play can continue. The children should dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We also have some raincoats available for those who require them. If there is heavy rain or bad weather forecast the children can use the driving range which is undercover.
When do I pay for the party?
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure your booking date and time slot. The balance is payable immediately upon completion of the party once final costs have been confirmed with you.
What is the format of the party and how long is it?
All parties run for 2 hours. Once everyone has arrived the children head out for the first round of 18 holes of Mini Golf and a brief overview of how to play the game. After 18 holes, the children will come in for food, drinks and birthday cake before heading out again for the second round of 18 holes which will then bring us to the conclusion of the party. We ask that you vacate the party area by the designated time so that our staff can tidy the room and prepare for the next party.

Are there any supervision requirements?
Yes. Parents are required to supervise at all times throughout the party in both the party rooms and while the children are playing Mini Golf. We recommend one adult for 4 children under the age of 10 for supervision on the mini golf courses.
Do supervising parents have to pay?
If the supervising adult is not playing Mini Golf there is no need for them to pay, however any additional adults or siblings that would like to play will be charged at the appropriate Mini Golf rate.
Do we need to have a supervisor?
Yes, all parties include a supervisor from the team at Thornleigh Golf Centre, unless all guests are over 12 years of age. If there is more than 10 guests, parents are also required and encouraged to supervise the group.

Can I bring extra things to the party?
Feel free to bring along any additional party decorations, lolly bags or a birthday cake and don’t forget the candles! We can provide a cake if required however, it will need to be ordered in advance.
Please note that we do not allow outside food to be brought into the party room or cafe, the exception being if you have booked a self catered party.
