Thornleigh Golf Centre school holiday golf clinics are a must see, according to manager Steve Aisbett.
And parents won’t have to drive hundreds of kilometres to enjoy one of the best minigolf courses in the southern hemisphere. Thornleigh has its very own and the centre is encouraging children to come and play these school holidays.
New minigolf course at Thornleigh Golf centre in the Old Brickpit site off Pennant Hills Rd.
“We teach them the skills of the game, the basics,” Mr Aisbett said. “It’s good to get the kids outside and exercising instead of watching television.”
He said the school holiday golf clinics were open to all school-aged children and were “hugely popular” in the past.

“We’ve run the clinics for three years. When the children come here and play, they really learn a skill for life. Golf is a game they can play when they’re 100,” Mr Aisbett said.

He said there were many benefits of taking the kids out to play minigolf.
