Looking for ways to fill in time on a rainy day?

What outdoor rainy day activities can you think of? It’s always a difficult one. Want to be outside? Want to be doing a sport? Something in the fresh air that has an exercise component? Who wants to be stuck in a hot, sweaty gym? Thornleigh Golf Centre offers a great rainy day activities, with particular focus on our fantastic undercover driving range.

Our Thornleigh driving range includes 56 undercover floodlit driving bays, a perfect solution for that rainy day activity! You can even enter the driving range which is next to the carpark – so you won’t get a drop on you (ok, maybe a few but run quickly and you’ll be fine). Open from 8.30am to 9.30pm on most days, there isn’t an hour in the day you can’t have a swing at the ball.

Bring the kids too, there is nothing worse than a rainy day with children stuck at home. They will also enjoy having a hit on our undercover driving bays. Share a bucket of balls and hire some clubs – garner their interest and then pen in some golf lessons if you see a future champion. After a great swing in our state of the art driving range (where you stay dry), relax in the Bunker Café – open 7 days a week, also the perfect place to relax, unwind and with our free Wifi makes it even easier to stay longer! Have a coffee and a light meal while the rain is coming down outside.

Alternatively you could just stay under the doona at home with the ipad but then where is the fun in that?

The perfect rainy day activity is at Thornleigh Golf Centre – a great place to improve your drive and skill level regardless of what the weather is doing.
